Admission

It is our purpose to enroll those students who are
academically and spiritually qualified to pursue a thorough course of study and
afterwards render effective Christian service. Enrollment to ETS is limited to
those who testify their salvation and indicate their call and commitment.
Admission requirements are designed to ensure that each student
who enters the Seminary program has the capacity to, pursue his work
successfully. The applicant’s Bible College/University program and grades,
tested abilities, personality traits, and Christian commitment are given
priority in determining admission.
Wives of the married students may audit or take selected courses
for credit or enroll in the degree program.
ETS is not authorized by the government of India to issue
student visa to foreign students. However we request the foreign students who
are interested to join ETS may contact the registrar to discuss the possibility
of alternative arrangements.
For the M.Th. Degree (Master of Theology) and the M.B.S Degree
(Master of Biblical Studies).
The prerequisite is Bachelor Degree in theology with B (2nd
division) from a recognized Bible College or a Bachelor Degree in secular field.

File an application for
enrollment with the Registrar from whom the application forms and prospectus
may be obtained for a sum of Rs.100/.

Application must be
completed in full and returned to the Registrar along with the following
documents:

Official transcript of academic credit

Photo copy of Degree Certificates

2 copies of passport size photograph
-
A report of physical examination by a medical doctor

Letter of commendation from the local church.

Recent conduct certificate
-
References from four people
-
Christian ministry/work experience certificate.

Admission Committee
reviews each applicant’s papers and after they have been reviewed, applicant’s
are notified of its action. Applicants are evaluated on the basis of their
college academic record, the extent and quality of their involvement in
Christian service, their apparent gift and promise for Christian ministry, and
the evaluation of their references.

Entrance Exam: Before
the final selection is announced an entrance exam will be conducted in the
areas of English, Theology and Bible Exposition, which will be followed by a
personal interview. Entrance exam only in the areas of English and basic
Bible knowledge for students who come from secular background (see the
application package for details).
